Can I get job in civil engineering after 40 yrs of age as a fresher?

I am an Indian guy from Kolkata ,India,studying diploma in civil engineering from "THE INSTITUTION OF CIVIL ENGINEERS (INDIA " recognized by MHRD ,UGC,UPSC,GATE.My present age is 38 yrs & by the time I complete the diploma in civil i will be 40+ old. I am from India.So can I get a job at that age?

There will not be any hurdle in getting the job at your age. You have to prepare yourself as starter with many younger colleagues.

You can always develop a special skill related to civil engineering and then emphasize your candidature in private concerns or preferably in family owned business enterprises to make a career even at an advanced aged Samiran.
