These companies generally prefer CSE graduates over ECE graduates because of their superior programing skills. If as ECE student you can develop excellent object oriented programming skills with some unique ideas you can get job in top MNC. Google looks for candidates who have unique search engine ideas.

If you want to work on Google or Microsoft, you can take CSE and also you need to master computer language. I recommend c+. Google has five interviews so you need to be very intelligent, active, and confident. And also should have knowledge in CSE in as much details and depth as possible.

Hi Avinash,
I would not say that you won't get. Definitely, you will get. The companies which you have asked for like Google and Microsoft do not need CSE engineers. They just need passionate programmers who have excellent problem-solving skills. So, if you have that kind of skill and you keep on upgrading yourselves in the world of programming and problem solving, it will be a cake walk for you to enter into Google or Microsoft. Since the world is moving towards digitization and automation, I would suggest that you equip and upgrade your knowledge in the field of automation problems through computers and machines.
All the best. -
