Can I get lateral entry admission in this college for B.Tech after doing Diploma in plastic engineering or do I need to appear for any exam?

Hi Zeeshan, clearing JEE MAINS is compulsory for getting entry into the college. There is no other provision.

This institute does not offer lateral entries. Colleges that offer admission through JEE Mains don't generally have lateral entry option.

Yes, you can. You have to score a minimum of 60% marks in your Diploma examination. Then you have to sit for the JELET exam ( for west Bengal) and the rank of that exam will decide your future college. You can opt for mechanical and chemical engineering.
