Considering the last three years' MDI Gurgaon CAT cutoffs, candidates seeking admission must aim to score more than the 97 percentile in the CAT exam. Admission to the management programmes offered at MDI Gurgaon are done based on valid CAT scores. Shortlisted students are required to appear for GDPI rounds for MBA admission. Students must meet both the overall and MDI sectional cutoff to be eligible for admission. Hence, it might be difficult to get into the institute with 94 percentile. However, the institute doesn't release its cutoffs on public doman and is exclusively accessible only via account login to candidates who have a

The cutoff data for MDI admissions is currently unavailable for the year 2025. According to the data on the cutoff for the year 2024, a 94 percentile is insufficient to get admissions as the cutoff rankfor MDI stoodat 97%. This cutoff limit has remainedfor several past years, which makes a 94 percentile for general category unlikely to be sufficient for admissions.

MDI Gurgaon does not release cutoff list. The eligibility criteria set for admission to MDI Gurgaon follows that, Candidate must have a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidate must have scored at least 50% in both Class 10 and 12, and have a valid CAT/GMAT score. In addition to the CAT score, candidates must also perform well in the Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds for final selection. Additionally, MDI Gurgaon does not have any management quota seats.

Even with the 94 percentile, some people can still enter MDI, while others cannot even with the 98 percentile. Here, the GD round and personal interview are important. Individuals with lower percentiles typically possess outstanding communication abilities.

For MDI, if you don't have any work experience, you need anything above 98+ to convert, and you need 94+ to obtain a call with sectionals over 85+.

No, you cannot get into MDI Gurgaon with 94 percentile. The Management Development Institute Gurgaon admission to PGDM in International Business + Master in Management (MIM) is based on CAT score, followed by a Personal Interview (PI) round. As per MDI Gurgaon cutoff 2024, the CAT cutoff percentile was 97 for the General All India category students. So, a general category student can not get into MDI Gurgaon with 94 percentile in CAT for PGDM courses.

However, candidates belonging to other categories, including SC, ST, OBC and PWD can get into Management Development Institute Gurgaon with 94 CAT percentile.

With a 300 SC category rank in CAT, your chances for NIT Trichy MBA are relatively high. Based on 2025 data, NIT Trichy generally shortlists SC candidates with CAT percentiles around 60-65. To achieve a 300 rank under SC category, you would need about a 65-70 percentile, or a score of roughly 60-65 marks out of 198 in CAT 2025, depending on difficulty and normalization process. Final selection is also based on interview, academics, and work experience. Yes, you are fairly within touch, but I would encourage you to have a solid overall profile as well to increase your chances of admission.
