Can I get mechanical at NITK? I have scored 5197 rank and I belong to OBC category.

Yes you can. As far as i know, Last year OBC cut off for mechanical was around 8000. I don't think it can go so low as 5000. still keep your options open for other NITs, where you can get easily. Don't fill only 2-3 choices in the counseling website. Make sure you order the choices according to your
