Can I get mechanical seat at SSN? What is the fee structure including hostel charges? I belong to MBC category. My cut off is 196.5.

Last year the cut off for MBC was 196.5 so you have a chance of getting mechanical through counseling itself. Fee structure is like this
If you get it through counseling it will come around Rs.1.1 lacs-Rs.1.2 lacs (without hostel) on top of that if you are the first graduate in your family then it will come around Rs.90k-Rs.1 lac (without hostel)
If you get it through management it will come around Rs.1.4 lacs-Rs.1.5 lacs (without hostel)
For hostel you need to pay an additional Rs.70k (approximately) All the best.
