Thapar is among the top institutes in North India. It is a deemed university. Thapar has another branch called LM Thapar School of Management for MBA. The Patiala campus is for engineering only, whereas, Derabassi campus is for MBA. Including both the campuses, the courses offered are B.Tech, M.Tech
