    Admission to NIE is based on the rank obtained in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) Undergraduate Entrance Test .

    According to the College official website, the cutoff rank for admission to NIE through KCET varies depending on the course. For example, in 2021, the cutoff rank for Computer Science and Engineering was 1000.     Admission requirements for National Institute of Engineering Mysore is all dependent upon the cut of rank of the JEE main score.

    Every year the competition and level of the ranks depends and by that we can conclude that approximate rank of for the admission will fluctuate and is not fixed.

    But if we have to make a decision then we can check out the previous years cut off ranks details provided by the shiksha.com
