Can I get NIT with 95 percentile in JEE Main?

<p>Candidates scoring 95 percentile in JEE Main can get multiple NITs. This percentile ranges between 60,000 and 90,000 owing to which it is qualifying for most of the NITs. You can get entrances to mid tier NITs and a few bottom some also based on branch/campus. The top NITs we know of, like NIT Trichy or NIT Warangal, would have kept your CAP I, but other prestigious places should be in the range. Always refer to the latest cutoff trends &amp; do participate in this counseling for a better chance of admission.</p>

However, if you aim for a decent NIT with a preferred branch in the core field, you would need to score above 97.5%. On the other hand, if your goal is to get admission to a top college with the CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) branch, your score would need to be higher than 99.4%.</p>
