Can I get out of the waiting list and get the admission in DMA?

Asked about St. Xavier's College Kolkata - Diploma in Multimedia and Animation

How much is the probability for me getting the admission if my name is in the waiting list? What is the probability of me getting the admission, my best 4 is, 80.5%, as they take the waiting list candidates on merit basis. Do seats remain vacant after the admission of selection list students?
