Can I get seat in SASTRA University?
Asked about SASTRA (Deemed to be University) - B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering
I got 987 out of 1000 in board exams but I did not qualify JEE Mains. I want to take electronics course

Getting admission in this college at this score can only be possible through direct admission policy as you haven't qualified for the JEE Mains, but yes, you can get admission in this college for sure. -
I think you have chance in Stream 2, as you scored 98.7%. You have a good chance to get courses like electronics and instrumentation.

Hello Kavya, your marks are low to get admission at SASTRA University so you cannot get electronics course. You have very less chances to get a seat also. Even if you get you might not get your electronics course.
Try your luck in counseling.
The website for application is www.sastra.edu and the last date is June 10. Apply through stream 1 as you can enter your JEE marks even if you are not qualified. this can increase your chances for admission.
They will release the rankings as per your marks on June 10 so that you can decide.
