Hi Fathima, B.F.Tech i.e. Bachelor of fashion technology is an undergraduate fashion and interior designing course. Its duration is 4-years. Eligibility is 10+2 or equivalent. It focuses on advanced garment construction, tailoring, fitting, formal wear techniques and many more. The course covers creative and technical aspects of pattern making, construction, design, colour and textiles, and fashion history and business. The degree is helpful in working areas of clothing, ready-to-wear, costume design, strategy, and designing. After completing the course, one has an option of self-employment as an entrepreneur or of setting up their own design studios and workshops. They also have the option of going for higher degrees. They can also become an illustrator; who draws free hand sketches of designer's ideas.
