The duration of the course is spread over 6 semesters. The course objective is to impart theoretical as well as practical knowledge of media, print, electronic and cinema and focus on overall personality development.
After completing this course, you can work as a journalist in print media, PROs in corporate and government organizations, program producer, newsreader, researcher, script writer, interviewer in radio, account executive, media planner, copywriter in advertising, etc.

It is same as BA in journalism. History of media, print media, electronic media production and camera works, communication skills, developmental communication, public relation, etc. are being taught considering B.Sc as a foundation degree.
I would suggest you to pursue BA in journalism, often called Bachelor of journalism and mass communication (BJMC).
