Can I get the job of professor of english language in an engineering college? I have done my Masters in english through distance education.
There is no parameter mentioned for the selection of english professor in the AICTE norms.

First you have to appear in UGC NET exam, State level eligibility test (SLET) is another option. Initially you will be appointed as Asst. Professor and than promoted to Associate Professor, To become as Professor you further need to first complete yours Ph.D.
