Can I get UPES for B.Tech petroleum only on the basis of Mains rank? I have 75000 Mains rank.

    Based on you, it is hard to get petroleum branch. But there is a little possibility. So you can try in the counseling as UPES has a waiting list system.

    No you will not get petroleum branch with this rank. But you will get any other branch.

    Apart from JEE Mains, there are two ways-
    1) UPES-EAT exam conducted by UPES Dehradun (minimum 60% are required in 10th, 12th and PCM).
    2) 12th board merit-based selection (minimum 80% are required in 10th, 12th and PCM).
    JEE Mains cut-off is 60.
    Do visit their website to avoid any delay in your application.
