Can I give my HSC exams again after a two-year gap from the last time I attended?

I have attended HSC examination (Maharashtra Board) in the academic year 2016-17 but was not able to make through. For some personal reasons, I stopped studying and now I want to continue studying. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to. Can someone please guide me?
