Can I go for 3rd attempt for JEE Mains? I wants to take another chance?

Hi buddy I suggest you to not go for 3rd attempt. If you have not cleared it in two attempts then it is difficult to clear in 3rd attempt.

I think, you should not go for 3rd attempt. You have already given yourself a second chance, in which you had decided to study hard, based on the experience of 1st attempt. But, you couldn't do well in 2nd chance in spite of having clear in mind that you have to do something better than 1st attempt. Now, even if you give yourself one another chance, is there any guarantee that you will score much better? No, right? Rather, there will be a huge mental pressure on you, because this will be the last chance for you to get into a good engineering college. In this pressure, you may lose your patience. And, if you take admission this year in a good enough college, you can perform well there, and get a good placement at the end. In the end, it doesn't matter whether you had taken a drop or not. Decision will be yours only. But, consider all these factors. All the Best.

Sure, you can! As placements are mostly dependent on one factor and that is your skill set. You have three options with you. You need to analyze the pros and cons of all these options by yourself no one can better judge your situation than you Not trying again and getting into any not-so-good college. Trying again and get into a college you really want to be in. Try again after getting into a not-so-good college (to play safe). What you need to ask yourself is : Is trying again really worth it? If placements are the only thing that matter to you then it is better to hone your skills being into a not-so-good college rather than spending another year to get that NIT tag. A point to be noted here is that getting into an NIT won't guarantee you good placement depends on your skills more than the tag. It is good to give yourself a second chance which you didbut remember. You can never make the same mistake twice because the second time you make it, its not a mistake, its a choice. I am also assuming that you are not really interested in the subjects like PCMor else you might have cleared the Mains after two attempts (I might be wrong). I would personally, never like to study subjects in which Im not really interested and would rather like to enhance my skills by using my time on studying things I am really interested in. A year is long to waste and life is short. I am not saying you shouldnt go for a 3rd attempt. If you want to and have full confidence in yourselfthen do itgive it your best shot. Don't have any doubts. Whether you think you can or you think you cant, your right. I have been in your situation and I chose option 1 because I personally didnt have the confidence required for option 2 and the multitasking ability required for option 3. Just make sure that the decision you take is totally yours and not taken under peer pressure or parental pressure. Don't regret your decisions in future thinking I did this because so and so person said this and that Whatever happens in your life, be it good or badthe only person responsible is you.
