Can I go for a government job after completing M.Sc in forensic science as I feel that it is having a less scope in India?

You are adviced to join Police Services and specialised organizations in officer or subordinate officer ranks by appearing against open vacancies advertised by government so that you can use your expertise and education.

You are advised to apply for normal police roles and once you are a part of police organisation, you can seek transfer to Forensic Science Department.
