Can I go for Animation course after BBA? If yes, how and what skills are required for it?

Hi Yogesh, If you're creative, you can always consider going for Design and Animation. A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. After completing BBA you can take up PG Diploma in animation. You just need be cretavitive and you have a wide range of courses in the combined fields of Animation, Gaming & Vfx. These industries are booming and job opportunities are growing here by the day. So you could take up a degree, diploma or a short term certificate course in Vfx depending on your time limitation. Weight out your options before making a final decision. Visit a few animation college websites, download their brochures and talk to their counselors and then make up your mind. Choose the right institution based on course structure, institute infrastructure, faculty, affiliations with reputed universities among others. All the best!
