Can I go in NASA if I choose aerospace engineering branch in LPU?

Dear Suyash, Why not, if you fulfill the eligibility criteria for NASA, then can go for NASA after aerospace engineering from LPU. The LPU degree is valid worldwide. My friend did the same programme at LPU. Aerospace is a niche area, the skills required in the industry are beyond the course curriculum of most of the universities. LPU has recognised this and developed the curriculum in consultation with the industry. It has even set up a center for space research with a mission control facility. LPU has set an ambitious goal of developing a satellite LPUSAT-1, which will be launched next year (2021) The Center will enable students and researchers to communicate with the International Space Station (ISS), download lives satellite images, and receive telemetry, Science/engineering data from nano-satellites and larger spacecraft The Center will act as a key facility in the field of space research for LPU as well as a virtual lab for Universities, Colleges and Schools in India and the neighboring countries of India A team of students, Visionauts, from Lovely Professional University have won the prestigious STEM Engagement Award in the 2019 NASA's Human Exploration Rover Challenge held at the US Space &amp; Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. This marks the third consecutive occasion of a team from LPU getting selected to participate in the prestigious competition. Interestingly, the team also got an opportunity to interact with Sunita Williams, a NASA astronaut, and two-time spaceflight veteran, who attended the second day of the event. Aerospace engineering focuses on designing both aircraft and spacecraft and it is a study of all the space crafts used within and out of the earth's atmosphere while Aeronautical Engineering is the study of aircraft that operates within the earth's atmosphere. Getting into NASA is not easy but never impossible, LPU definitely will provide the base and support to fulfill your dream. Let me provide you with details of aerospace engineering at LPU. Aerospace engineering in LPU is a course that is designed for learners who intend to design aircraft, spacecraft, satellites and missiles. In addition, these engineers test prototypes to make sure that they function according to plans. These professionals also design components and sub-assemblies for these craft like engines, air-frames, wings. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. Are an integral part of the curriculum The highest package offered was 31LPA by Code Nation. Aerospace engineering has the worst placement records. Only 5-10 people have got placements from college and more than 5 were placed in IT jobs. The highest package offered maybe of 7 lacs as far as I know. Not more than 20 percent got internships from the college last year.
