Can I have 2 years of work experience while pursuing my Masters abroad?

No, you can not. You can only work for 20 hours (part-time) per week. If you are lucky, you might get the job of your interest, then you can show the number of hours you worked for.

Well, I don't know about New Zealand, but in many countries, you can only work on campus on the student visa. Working out of the university is illegal, and if you caught working outside, you'll be deported back to India.
