Some colleges allow admissions without JEE too
BE Aeronautical Engineering is a 4-year Under Graduate (UG) course with a specialisation in the field of aviation and aerodynamics. The minimum eligibility criterion which most of the institutes ask for is a score of at least 60% to 70% (relaxable for reserved category candidates) at 10+2 or equivalent level. -

6 years agoHello Kapuriya,
A student needs to pass JEE Mains only and only if she/he is desirous of seeking admission in NIT or IIT or GFTI. For seeking admission in other private colleges or deemed universities passing of JEE Main is not the criteria. It is important to know that almost every state has its own entrance exam for the engineering students and you need to pass the exam that is mandated by your state for you to enable admission in Aeronautical branch in your state. Of course some of the states have JEE Mains as the entrance exam and if you happen to be domicile of such a state then definitely you need to appear for and pass JEE Mains...more
