No, candidates cannot take admission to Andhra University Visakhapatnam without entrance exam. Admission to all coures at Andhra University are based on the merit aquired in the last qualifying exam and the course specific entrance exam scores. Some of the accepted entrance exams at Andhra University include Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh ECET, Andhra Pradesh PGCET, AUCET, CAT, MAT, XAT, GATE, APLAWCET, GPAT, and various others.

The candidates cannot secure a seat in any engineering college without appearing for the JEE exam. The seats are given based on the score of the JEE. The candidates after giving the JEE Exam need to check the merit list of the college and after clearing the exam the candidates are eligible for counselling. After, the counseling rounds candidates can secure their seats by paying the fees.
