You cannot join Athena School of Management directly. All candidates must take the Athena Scholastic Ability Test (ASAT) as part of the admission process. The school evaluates applicants based on entrance exam scores, academics, extra-curriculars, sports achievements (if any), social leadership, work experience (if any), and personal interview. The minimum cutoff for MBA at Athena School of Management in 2023 is 85 percentile for the General Category.

You are able to enrol directly at Athena School of Management. With a minimum score of 50% on their qualifying exam, graduates from any discipline are eligible to apply to the school's PGDM programme, which is equivalent to an MBA. Completing the application form and, in the case of some programmes, taking the NMAT exam constitute the application process. No, you are unable to enroll directly at Athena School of Management. The Athena Scholastic Ability Test (ASAT) is required of all applicants, or their results from another admission test, such as the CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, or GRE. Applications are assessed on a range of factors, including academic performance on entrance exams, extracurricular activities, athletic accomplishments, social leadership, professional experience, and in-person interviews. The admissions process is extremely difficult.

No, NMAT is not compulsory for admission to the MBA/PGPM programme at Athena School of Management (Mumbai).

Athena follows a profile-based admission process, which means your overall profile — academics, communication skills, achievements, and interview performance — carries more weight than just test scores.

You can apply with scores from NMAT, CAT, XAT, GMAT, or GRE, but if you haven't taken any of these, you can appear for ASAT (Athena Scholastic Aptitude Test), which is the institute's own entrance exam.

This gives flexibility to students who don't have NMAT or CAT scores but still want to pursue a management degree.

In short, NMAT
