Delhi School of Journalism admission is based on the Common Undergraduate Entrance Test (CUET). Without appearing for the CUET exam, applicants cannot be admitted to any courses at the college. After the announcement of the CUET results, candidates should register on Delhi University's admission portal and fill out their preferred programme and college. The Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal will be used for seat allocation in both UG and PG courses.

The total seats offered for B.A. at National School of Journalism and Public Discourse (NSoJ) and Mount Carmel College are 90 and 30, respectively. While National School of Journalism and Public Discourse (NSoJ) offers this course in only 1 specialisation, Mount Carmel College offers the same in only 1 specialisation. Hence, there are higher chances of getting a seat at National School of Journalism and Public Discourse (NSoJ) due to higher seats.
