Himachal Pradesh National Law University does not offer direct admission. Candidates are offered seat in the UG and PG courses of the university based on CLAT score. Besides, NLU Shimla conducts an entrance exam for PhD admission. Candidates fulfiling both eligibility and selection criteria are offered admission in the university.

  • No, you can not join Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU) directly. To join Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), you can apply for admission through the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for the BALLB and LLM programs. The university has joined the CLAT Consortium from the academic session 2023-2024, and the admission process is conducted online. For the undergraduate courses, candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized education board and must appear for the CLAT exam.
