Yes, no need to stress on MAT, one will still be able to pursue an MBA at IIBS Bangalore as they have many entrance exams. MAT is not the only examination IIBS takes into account for MBA admission, there are other papers like CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT and ATMA. Also, for those who have not taken any other of these exams some programs may allow taking the IIBS entrance test in other to qualify.

It will be best to verify this information with their admissions office so as to ensure that you do not miss any other related information or to know any other qualifications that could apply for their entrance test for your application cycle.

Yes, you can take admission in IIBS Bangalore for MBA programme without appearing at MAT. IIBS recognised following entrance test, CAT/XAT/CMAT/ATMA and the test conducted by the Institute. MAT is not mandatory; if you have not appeared for MAT, you will be able to apply with the scores of other test that are acceptable or you can write the test conducted by the institute. Before acceptance, the following factors will also be considered: academic achievement, performance during the personal interview and other requirements imposed by the university and /or college.

Yes, candidates can apply to GIBS Bangalore using MAT scores alone. GIBS accepts MAT scores as a valid entry for PGDM admissions. Along with your MAT score, you need to submit your application form, academic documents, and follow the selection process, which may include a short interview or discussion. It's very simple and All the Best!

No, MAT scores are not compulsory for admissions to the PGDM course at ICBM-SBE, because the college also considers several other entrance exam scores for admissions to the PGDM course. The names of the accepted entrance exams are-  CAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ MAT/ GMAT/ State level entrance test. Thus, applicants with valid scores in MAT can get admission to the PGDM course. However, it is not compulsory.

If you make an error in the educational qualifications section of the MAT form, you can typically make amends during the official correction period offered by AIMA. The correction period is open for a short time after the submission of the application. You can log in with your MAT account and edit the form, but not every field is editable, so check before you submit. If the correction period has closed, then you can contact AIMA support, but changes will not be guaranteed. It is always a good idea to save a copy of your original form for your reference.

The admission deadline for candidates interested in GITAM MBA admissions through the MAT exam is 15 - 22 September 2025. These dates are the last registration dates for the MAT PBT/CBT entrance exams. These dates are very close at this point of time. Hence, candidates who wish to apply for MBA admissions at GITAM are advised to register as soon as possible.
