can i join IIT after completing diploma course in mechanical enineering ?
i am still studying agnel polytechnic vashi in mechanical engineering course and will be completing my diploma in april 2013

Dear Prathamesh, there is no provision of lateral entry after diploma in IIT. Lateral entry is possible in all other state government and private engineering colleges where direct entry to 2nd year is given. For IIT you will have to give JIITEEE.

Dear Mr. Prathamesh, general entrance test is based upon after 12th for IIT, I request you to go through the government website and entrance form of IIT
