Can I join IMUC directly?

<p>No, as a civilian you are unable to enlist directly in the Indian Military Uniformed Corps (IMUC). You must first enlist in the Indian Armed Forces&mdash;the Army, Navy, or Air Force&mdash;through their respective recruitment procedures in order to join IMUC. These procedures usually involve intense psychological and physical testing, followed by military academy training. Depending on your speciality and the requirements of the service, you may be able to be assigned to an IMUC unit once you've enrolled and finished your training. Furthermore, there's a chance that certain IMUC specialised units call for further training or experience. Consequently, one must first enlist in the military forces and follow an indirect route to become a member of IMUC.</p>

<p>No, you cannot join IMUC directly. To qualify for admission to the university, you must pass the IMUC entrance exam. Every year in May or June, the IMUC entrance exam is held. There are two ways to take the exam: online and offline. Three areas make up the exam: chemistry, physics, and mathematics. There are a limited number of places available in each program, therefore the IMUC entrance exam is a competitive exam. When deciding who gets admitted, the IMUC admissions committee takes into account your performance in IMUC entrance exam, Your JEE Main result, How well you performed academically in high school, Your extracurricular pursuits.</p>
