No, as a civilian you are unable to enlist directly in the Indian Military Uniformed Corps (IMUC). You must first enlist in the Indian Armed Forces—the Army, Navy, or Air Force—through their respective recruitment procedures in order to join IMUC. These procedures usually involve intense psychological and physical testing, followed by military academy training.
