CSE is an academic programme at many universities which comprises scientific and engineering aspects of computing. To my advice, one must go for Computer Science and Engineering as it has been one of the most lucrative and competitive course to study since its inception in Indian engineering colleges. I would like to recommend those who have valid and eligible JEE Main scores then they could go for Lovely Professional University that offers B.Tech in various programs such as CSE, EE, ECE, ME, CE, Automobile, Chemical, Aerospace, Biotechnology, etc. Some of the points why one must consider B.Tech CSE from LPU.

Being an alumni of LPU I had lot of friends in CSE stream so I had an idea about the B.Tech CSE. They are placed in eminent institutions by completing their study from LPU as they found themselves quite fortunate! So I will be sharing certain details of LPU with you. An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. Eligibility Details :Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants). The fee structure is Rs 1,20,000 per semester.

Your question is bit unclear, we are assuming that you are looking for admission in LPU in B.Tech CSE. Will share details of the same. Admission for 2020 is already ON in Lovely Professional University. Eligibility for B.Tech CSE at LPU is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST or JEE Mains. , you are suppose to qualify the entrance exam I. e. LPU NEST. As of now you, just need to apply for the test before 3rd May, dates of the test will be announced once everything is settled.

* Positively, you can apply for admission in B.Tech CSE programme with Lovely Professional University, if you meet the Admission and Eligibility Criteria of the respective programme. Already admissions for Session 2020 is initiated.
* Due to COVID-19, candidates need to participate in online counselling and then can proceed for admission after the announcement of allotment. To participate in online counselling, a candidate needs to register for LPUNEST and upload his JEE details and scores and post that he/she need to wait for the announcement of rank or result.
* As far as you JEE Mains score is concerned, If you perform well in JEE Mains and score more than 80 percentile you need not to write LPUNEST. However, if you score less than 80 percentiles and in order to avail Scholarship, LPUNEST is mandatory and you must appear for LPUNEST in the Schedule II.
* Please refer the scholarship slabs to help you understand the same better:
1. Score 90+ percentile Scholarship in BT CSE= 40% and All other Programs = 50%
2. 85 90 percentile - Scholarship in BT CSE= 30% and All other Programs = 40%
3. 80 85 percentile - Scholarship in BT CSE= 20% and All other Programs = 30%
4. Less Than 80 percentile Apply for Admission and for Scholarship benefit appear for LPUNEST

Yes, you can join LPU for computer Science engineering but you have to check all the eligibility criteria for taking admission in LPU, as LPU conducted its own exam and takes admissions on the basis of class 12th percentage too.
