Can I join Indian Air Force at flying branch after completing 3 years aircraft and Maintenance Engineering from a DGCA recognised institute?

As per my understanding 3 year AME course is not equivalent to graduation degree therefore you are not eligible for joining Flying branch in IAF through CDS or other exams. Once you obtain Associate Membership of Aeronautical Engineering Society which is equivalent to B.Tech you can join IAF in both

You can join Indian Air Force Flying branch after 12th class by appearing for NDA or after graduation by appearing for CDS. NDA & CDS are conducted by UPSC. You can become Commercial Pilot after 12th if you have PCM at +2 stage by joining a flying club to obtain your flying license.
