Can i join indian army on army officer after graduate in b.sc (bio)

If you are a defence aspirant feeling guilty of missing your chance to enter armed services after your school days, you may appear for Combined Defence Services Examination(CDS). It is the entrance exam required to be passed to join Indian Army after completion of Graduation. This exam is held twice every year in February-March and September-October. There are certain eligibility criteria to appear in CDS exam : * Aspirant has to be a physically fit Citizen of India * A Graduate/Final year of Graduation from a recognized institution * At the commencement of CDS, age should be between: 1. 19 and 24 for IMA (PC), Male2. 19 and 25 for OTA (SSC- Non Tech), Male/ Female CDS comprises of a written exam which is followed by SSB interview which is held over five days. Day 1 starts with verbal and non verbal reasoning as a part of screening; Day 2 includes Psychological tests; Day 3 and Day 4 involve group task activities while the final Day 5 is of Personal Interview. Once you clear SSB, it takes one medical examination and then you get selected for IMA a door to join Indian Army in Officer Cadre.

For joining Indian Army, you have many ways. After class 12th, you can apply for NDA TES entries. After graduation, you can apply for CDSE, NCC, UES, TGC, ACC, SCO, PCSl. In all above case, you have to clear SSB interview to get selected. Also, eligibility for all entries is different. Check it with official website. I think that the subjects are never a disqualification provided you satisfy other qualifications required for Army. Check your physical requirements. Practice running from now on wards.
