You may enter SRM University with a lateral entry. You have to be enrolled in a three-year Diploma course in Engineering or Technology, with 60% aggregate marks at the time of joining SRM University from a known institution. Another option available is the B.Sc. degree in Science with a relevant subject of Mathematics. Admission is usually given in the third semester, and the candidates have to fulfil certain eligibility criteria and may also have to undergo merit screening based on their qualifying examination marks.
