JUIT offers a direct application. Students who achieve 60 points or higher on the combined PCM of the KCSE are admitted to the school's bachelor's degree programmes in technology.
In order to be admitted directly to JUIT, one must additionally fulfil the subsequent prerequisites:
At the very least, one should have a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or other accredited institution.
They have to be citizens of India.
That is, they ought to have taken the JEE Main exam during the previous school year.

Hi.

JUIT offers a “10+2 Merit-Based” admission route for B.Tech for certain seats — i.e. based on your Class 12 (or equivalent) marks instead of national entrance exam rank.

The eligibility for this usually requires: having passed 10+2 (or equivalent) in 2023–2025 and meeting minimum marks (in many cases ~ 60% aggregate, with Physics + Mathematics + appropriate third subject) as specified.

For some disciplines (e.g. Bioinformatics/Biotechnology), there is explicit mention of “non-JEE / 10+2 marks based” admissions.
