Admission to the Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research (MIMER) in Talegaon for the MS programme requires candidates to qualify in the NEET PG examination. The admissions process is strictly based on the marks scored in NEET PG, followed by counseling conducted by the Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra. Therefore, it is not possible to join MIMER for the MS programme without having taken the NEET PG exam. Candidates must participate in the NEET PG counseling to secure a seat in the postgraduate courses offered by the institute.
