Can I join National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Gorakhpur without GATE?

<p>Candidates only require GATE if they are applying for National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology Gorakhpur M.Tech programme. However, aspirants can apply for M.Tech even without GATE by providing institute or university level exam scores. The instiute conducts NIELIT Entrance Exam for O and A Level courses. For all other programmes, selection is merit-based.</p>

The merit of the Institute Level Exam or University Level Exam determines admission.</p><p>Short-term, certificate, and degree programs in IT and electronics are available through NIELIT Gorakhpur.GATE/UPSEE scores are used to determine admission to the M.Tech program.The NIELIT entrance test is used for long-term course admission.</p><p>Candidates who do not have GATE qualifications may be eligible for a stipend of up to Rs 9000 per month.Candidates who have passed the GATE exam are qualify for a stipend under the AICTE's PG Scholarship guidelines.</p></div>
