Can I join NIELIT Gangtok directly?

<p>You can apply directly to NIELIT Gangtok by following the admissions procedures, of course. Enrollment in short-term courses is available all year round and is based on merit. Admission to non-formal courses is held twice a year, in January and July. Press announcements (Sikkim Express, Hamro Prajashakti, Dainik Jagran, etc.) and the center's website (nielit.gov.in/gangtok) are occasionally used to announce admittance. Candidates may apply directly for admission if they fulfil the requirements for that particular course. Applicants may submit their online applications at student.nielit.gov.in, the NIELIT student portal. Aadhaar card must be present for the candidate to fill out the application.</p>
