There is no certain way to get admission into PIET directly. The admission process for B.Tech and Diploma courses is based on the JEE Main/HSTES merit. However, admission to other courses may be based on the scores of qualifying degree or national level exams. Therefore, candidates who do not have a JEE Main score can still apply for admission to PIET through other modes.

There is no set procedure for being accepted straight into PIET. Admission to B.Tech and Diploma programs is determined by the merit of JEE Main and HSTES. However, passing national level exams or earning a qualifying degree may be prerequisites for entrance to other courses. As a result, applicants to PIET who do not have a JEE Main score may still do so in another way.
