For admission to Pondicherry Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology for Diploma in Food & Beverage Service does not require any entrance exam scores. Admission to the same is based on one's 10+2 score. That means Pondicherry Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology offers direct admission to Diploma in Food & Beverage Service.

Yes, it is possible to pursue the Diploma in Food & Beverage Service in PIHMCT Pondicherry without sitting for the NCHMCT JEE. For admission to PIHMCT's Diploma courses, a candidate is simply required to pass 10+2 with the General or Vocational course. The criteria of selection include evaluation of marks secured in the qualifying exam and does not need any entrance test for Diploma courses. Make sure you fulfill the age criteria (18–22 years) and provide all documents at the time of application. Check the official PIHMCT website for more information and application process.
