Indeed, passing the CMAT is a requirement for admission to Saurashtra University's MBA program. Candidates for MBA programs must have passed the NTA-administered CMAT test and scored at least 50% (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) on the qualifying exam.
In fact, in order to be eligible for a special reduction under the NTA-run tuition schedule, all colleges require the CMAT. Scores on the CMAT are helpful but not necessary. It is still possible for you to apply to the MBA programme at Surashtra University if your CMAT result is not at least 55%.
