For that, one can join School of Studies in Library & Information Science for
M.Lib.Isc without gate. Admission requirement: merit, 60% and entrance exam score, 40%. Qualification: BLISc or equivalent, with minimum 50% marks. Non-gate applicants eligible to apply on the institute level entrance examination or in the university-level exams. Application fee is around Rs 500-1000. Admission processing fee charges are around Rs 5000-10000. Duration of the course: 2 years with 4 semesters. Number of seats: 30-40. Reservation quota: SC-15%, ST-7.5%, OBC-27%, EWS -5%.
