    Hi,
    Most colleges start in August and they release the admission forms in November. You can look for polytechnic colleges or colleges with a smaller design program which have space available.You can work on your sketching skills and study for the entrances that you can appear for next year. You can take up internships with designers or brands and work on building a resume.

    Sorry, it's not possible for you to join now, as there is no lateral entry system in NIFT. It's better to start preparing for the entrance exam from now so that you can get a good rank and extend your chances for getting a good branch in NIFT. Fill the online form which will be available from November and entrance exam will be in February. All the best.
