Yes, with the CDS you can join the Indian Navy. To join the Navy through CDS you need to select the Navy as your first choice during application. Also, to get recommended for the Naval Academy, you must fulfill the following criteria:
1. Your age must be between 19 and 24 years old.
2. Only unmarried male can apply for Indian Navy through CDS
3. You need to have a Engineering degree from any recognised university
4. Your height must be 157 cm or more. After getting recommended from the SSB and medical board, you will get trained at the Indian Naval Academy to join the Indian Navy as an officer. -
