Yes, in some cases it could be possible to join LPU even after you finish 1st year of BCA, but honestly it really depends on what LPU allows under their migration / credit transfer rules. Also it matters whether your earlier college and the specific subjects you studied, match the required criteria.

For BCA , there is a lateral entry option. Now , the admission are going to be open for session 2018-2019 in next year . My personal advice is if you are willing to take admission do it sooner, because it will be very difficult for you to avail hostel. Thank you.
