It is possible to join Telangana University without TSICET for some courses, but most of the courses offered by TU require qualifying TSICET. TG ICET exam is conducted in an online mode at designated test centres. Candidates are assigned a computer system for the ICET exam at the test centre.

TGCHE allocates exam centre based on the test zone preferences selected by the candidate during the application process. Allotment also depends on seat availability at a particular test zone.
