Can I know about BCA? Is it a better course than B.Tech in CSE or IT? What is the scope of BCA?

Indian industry prefer B.Tech CSE or IT graduates over BCA graduates. BCA is a lower degree in comparison to B.Tech. With BCS, you can get a job in Medium or Small size IT companies. Large IT companies and MNCs prefer B.Tech CSE/ IT or MCA graduates over BCA. In order to have meaningful IT career, BCA graduates will have to pursue MCA. -
BCA is a 3 year under graduation degree course which is generally pursued by candidates with interest in computers and programming. Whereas B.Tech in CSE/IT is a 4 year Under Graduation Degree Course which is also pursued by candidates with interest in programming and computers. A candidate with B.Tech degree is very likely to get hired by a company as compared to BCA Graduate. B.Tech is much more beneficial as compared to BCA. If you are eligible for admission into B.Tech then you definitely should take admission into B.Tech without giving it a second thought. Both are good courses to do, but I'll suggest you to go for B.Tech, as B.Tech has more value than BCA. Scope is almost same for both. -
Placement wise, you should go for B.Tech but nowadays B.Sc. IT or BCA provides you with best core study of the IT field.
