Can I know about PES University? Is it as good as VIT in terms of course fee and placements?

Yes, you can know about PES University. Just be more specific in what you want to know.
No doubt, VIT is better in terms of course fee as VIT has 3 categories for admission and the fee increment is also gradual whereas in PES there are only 2 categories for admission and the fee increment is absurd (among the categories).
For the placements, I would say PES stands ahead of VIT. Being a first-year student have much idea about the placements. -
