    Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology is one of the prestigious and best institutions in the country. Thapar is a top-ranked Institution and deemed to be University. Thapar has been ranked 20 in India and 1 in Punjab by NIRF ( MHRD Government of India). Placements of Thapar is also better than some NITs and Thapar ranked as the 8 best institutes in the terms of Placements.
