Can I know about the exam pattern of JEE Mains 2017?

There is no change in the exam pattern of JEE Mains and Advanced. The only one thing that changed is that they will not consider 12th board exams. Last year, they considered 60% JEE Mains score and 40% 12th Board score. This year they will only consider JEE Mains score/rank for admissions in NIT. They will not consider 12th board marks means you have to score a minimum of 75% in 12th, only then will they consider only JEE Mains exam score. If you scored below 75% (for GEN) /70%( for OBC, NT, VJNT, SC, ST) then getting admission in NIT's is very hard. I mean there is no guarantee for admission in NIT's. For IIT's either 75% is required or the student is required to be in the top 20 percentile. Best of luck.
