Hi
SAT new pattern has total score of 1600 and you need to score atleast 1280 to be eligible for top universities in USA, Singapore. The total duration of the test is 3 hours. However, candidates will be given another 50 minutes for the Essay, which is optional. The new SAT test pattern 2016 has, essentially, four sections- Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, Reading Test, Writing and Language Test and Math while the Essay is optional. As per the SAT 2016 test pattern, a total of 154 questions is asked in including 1 essay question. The exam is basically objective. For registration and details, you may visit collegeboard.org -
SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) is an standardized test which is taken by students who wish to pursue their undergraduate education in USA. The exam is conducted by College Board and its conducted every year 5 times in India in all major cities. You can visit CollegeBoard website for more details.
Another such exam is the ACT.
Unlike JEE and other entrance exams in India, a good score in SAT doesn't guarantee admission in top American Universities. -
